Tamara started her fine crafts teaching career with 4-harness weaving in 1980. This was followed by a stint teaching knitting in Up-State New York and an Artist in Residency, Fiber and Clay, at the Sam Houston Memorial Museum.
From the summer of 2000 thru 2013 Tamara co-directed the arts & crafts program at Gwynn Valley Camp, an early childhood coed sleep-over camp in the mountains of western North Carolina outside of Brevard. She still serves as a consultant.
Since 1992, when not at camp, Tamara has served as a community artist offering arts and crafts instruction through The Wynne Home Arts Center and through projects funded by the Huntsville Arts Commission.
Now she has opened her own shop where she can share her many craft talents with you!
